Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav to Launch 'Jan Kalyan Parv' Celebrating One Year of Governance

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is set to launch the ‘Jan Kalyan Parv’ on Wednesday to mark the one-year anniversary of his government. The BJP-led administration in the state has planned a two-week-long event to showcase its achievements over the past year.

As part of the initiative, CM Yadav has instructed district authorities to hold camps at block and gram panchayat levels to highlight the government’s development efforts. "Officials will engage with citizens to inform them about welfare schemes and ensure eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits," the Chief Minister stated.

Cabinet ministers and MLAs have also been directed to organize programs in their constituencies during the ‘Jan Seva Parv.’ The focus will be on ensuring the state’s 56 welfare schemes reach every village and ward.

Following the BJP's decisive victory in the November 17, 2023, Assembly elections, which secured 163 out of 230 seats, Mohan Yadav was sworn in as the Chief Minister on December 13, 2023. This marked a leadership change as Shivraj Singh Chouhan transitioned to a national role as Union Agriculture Minister after winning the Vidisha Lok Sabha seat.

CM Yadav, a three-time MLA from Ujjain, recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House, where he briefed the PM on the state’s welfare initiatives and sought his blessings to commemorate this milestone in his tenure.
