Alumni Conference and Convocation Ceremony at Nilakanthanagar Saraswati Vidya Mandir
BERHAMPUR, 5/1 (Abhijeet Kar): A Huge alumni conference of doctors was held at the Nilakanthanagar Saraswati Vidya Mandir on Sunday afternoon in the school premises. The chief guest of the event was Hon'ble Berhampur MP Dr. Pradeep Kumar Panigrahi, Hon'ble MLA Sj. Manoranjan Dyansamantraya, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of Odisha University of Health Sciences, Bhubaneswar Professor Dr. Manas Ranjan Sahu, Regional General Manager of State Bank of India Shri Harikrishna Panda, Assistant Associate Professor of MKCG Medical College, Berhampur Dr. Chandan Gantayat attended the event as the chief guest of honour and encouraged the students. On this occasion, the chief guest Dr. Pradeep Kumar Panigrahi urged all the students to maintain a service mindset and provide dedicated service to the poor. Similarly, other guests in their speeches also exhorted the students on the meaning of human service and the meaning of Madhav Seva.
On this occasion, 147 students who had successfully passed NEET 2024 and got MBBS were felicitated with great pomp. On this occasion, Mr. Kuldeep Behera, who had trained at the institute last year, had secured the highest score of 705 in the NEET examination, and was given a special felicitation by the institute along with a motorbike worth Rs. 1 lakh. Like every year, 147 students who had successfully passed NEET-2024 and were studying in various foreign colleges were felicitated. All the MBBS students who had passed out from Nilakantnagar Saraswati Vidya Mandir and were studying in various foreign institutions and providing medical services were invited and felicitated.
More than 500 former medical students participated in this program and made the institution proud. In this context, many eminent personalities were present on the stage and felicitated all the former medical students. More than 1500 students of the institute including all the professors of the coaching department were present in this program and contributed to making the program a success. On this occasion, the President of the Institute Management Committee Dr. Jivanand Tripathi and the Secretary Sj Narayan Panda expressed their gratitude to all the faculty members, supporting staff and all the well-wishers who are working hard for the success of the institute.
In this context, the Principal of the school, Shri S. Mohan Rao, introduced the guests, while the Principal of the college, Dr. Subrat Kumar Panigrahi, explained the purpose of the program. Finally, the Academic Administrator of the institution, Shri Umadhav Mohanty, proposed the vote of thanks. A grand colorful cultural program was organized on this occasion.
