BERHAMPUR, 16/1 (Abhijit Kar): A Preparatory Meeting meeting was held in Ashok Nagar on Thursday evening to celebrate the birth centenary of legendary radio personality Madhusudan Panigrahi, the first Odia Director of FM radio Odisha. The meeting was held at the office of the Madhumaya Panigrahi Foundation, founded by Shri Panigrahi, under the chairmanship of the committee's chief convener Hrishikesh Panigrahi. In addition to Trustee Suhrud Panigrahi, who came from far away Paris, Trustees Tripati Balaji Patra, Sunil Patnaik, D. Somaya, Dr. Prabir Dash, Srikant Padhi, Dr. Mihir Tripathi, Sudipta Panigrahi, Bhavani Shankar Mahapatra, Rabindra Gouda, Bhagwan Maharana, Kamala Patra, Sonali Panda were prominent participants in the meeting.
In this context, the legendary personality Madhusudan Panigrahi, who has been involved in the establishment of the voice in Odisha since its inception in 1948 and has played a very important role, has given his final opinion on the celebration of his birth centenary. In addition, when the celebration is to be celebrated in Berhampur next February, renowned media personalities of India, intellectuals, prominent artists and some esteemed personalities who worked with Shri Panigrahi are scheduled to participate in it. It is said that Shri Panigrahi's much-acclaimed autobiography 'Thik Dunya' will be released on this occasion. Hrishikesh Panigrahi, the chief convenor of the Birth Centenary Committee, informed that many artists associated with the voice will participate in the program. Along with the trustees of the foundation, the staff of the Madhusudan Panigrahi Birth Centenary Celebration Committee were prominently Present.
