Jia Narigara to Join TV Show ‘Jhanak’ as Ridhi: "It’s a Beautiful Character"

Jia Narigara, known for her role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, is set to enter the popular TV show Jhanak, starring Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja in lead roles. The actress, excited about this new venture, revealed that she has already started shooting and described her character as “beautiful.”

Jia shared, “I’m happy to join the cast of a successful show. I will play the role of Ridhi, a young Gujarati girl in Kunal Verma’s family. It is a beautiful and lovely character. I have started my shoots, and soon the audience will see me onscreen.”

Being a Gujarati herself, Jia finds it enjoyable to portray a character from her own cultural background. She added, “I’m born in a Gujarati family in real life, so performing one in reel life is fun. I’m glad that 2025 is starting on a good note professionally. I’m looking forward to exploring more opportunities this year.”

In Jhanak, Hiba Nawab’s character embarks on a life-changing journey as she prepares to marry Vihaan (played by Kunal Verma) and becomes his second wife. This significant twist marks a fresh chapter as Jhanak leaves her life in Kolkata behind and begins anew in Gujarat. Her relationship with Krushal Ahuja’s character, Aniruddha, comes to an end, leading to a major turning point in the story.

The show’s ensemble cast also includes Aarya DharmChand, Soniyaa Kaur, Muni Jha, Vaishali Thakkar, Kajal Pisal, Poorva Gokhale, Sachin Verma, Ankita Chakraborty, and Sunny Sachdeva.

Jia Narigara is celebrated for her performances in shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Ishq-e-Nadaan, Gunaah, and Be Happy. She gained widespread recognition through her role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, a reboot of the 2001 classic soap opera by Ekta Kapoor. This romantic drama series aired from September 25, 2018, to October 3, 2020, and starred actors like Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes, Hina Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Aamna Sharif, and Karan Patel.
