Officials Hold Preparatory Meeting to Celebrate 76th Republic Day in Berhampur

BERHAMPUR, 8/1(Abhijit Kar): A Preparatory Meeting was Held on Wednesday Afternoon at the Conference room of the local SDM, Berhampur, by the Information and Public Relations Department in connection with the celebration of the Berhampur Sub-divisional level Republic Day under the chairmanship of Berhampur Sub Collector, Ms. Dina Dastagir. On January 26, at 5.00 am, the Sub-division Information and Public Relations Department will play Ramdhun in the city through a public address system. Similarly, all other government and private institutions will hoist the flag at 7 am. At 8.30 am, the national flag will be hoisted by the chief guest at the Khallikote University Stadium. However, this year, it has been decided to allow students of all schools and colleges to participate in this parade.

On the occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Odia Speech Competition will be organized on 12.01.2025, Drawing Competition on 11.01.2025 and Odia Essay Competition on 11.01.2025 for Primary (Class IV to Class V), Secondary (Class VI to Class VII), High School (Class VIII to Class X) and College Level. Similarly, for National Election 25.01.2025, all the competitions will be held on 11.01.2025 and 12.01.2025 at the Sub Collector's Office, Berhampur Premises. The parade rehearsals have been scheduled to be held on 22.01.2025 and 23.01.2025 at 3.00 PM and on 24.01.2025 at 7.30 AM at the Khallikote University Stadium. In this preparatory meeting, officers of various departments including SDPOAkshay Kumar Panda, DIB Inspector Tripati Chaudhary and R.I.F of Police M. Lakshmi Ranjan were Present. In this preparatory meeting, the Sub-Divisional Information and Public Relations Officer Loknath Satapathi presented various details and sought everyone's cooperation in celebrating this year's Republic Day.
