Selena Gomez Reveals Her Pet Peeve and Shares Insights into Her Career

Hollywood singer and actress Selena Gomez recently opened up about her pet peeves and her evolving career in an interview with W Magazine.

Selena’s Pet Peeves

The Wolves singer revealed that her biggest annoyance is when people are late. She shared:
“My pet peeves are people who are late.”

She also expressed her dislike for preferential treatment due to her celebrity status. Gomez emphasized:
“I don’t like how people treat other people if they treat me differently. I notice those things very quickly. I have lovely people in my life that have nothing to do with the industry, and I really pay attention to how people treat my friends and people around me.”

Challenging Herself in 'Emilia Perez'

Selena recently appeared in 'Emilia Perez', a crime-comedy film alongside Karla Sofía Gascon and Zoe Saldana. Speaking about the project, Gomez revealed her pride in performing in Spanish.
“I was extremely proud to speak Spanish. I was nervous, but I have released a whole album in Spanish before. I’m more comfortable singing in Spanish, so doing an entire film was a little intimidating.”

The actress also shared her admiration for working with filmmaker Jacques Audiard, who directed the film.
“I’ve never wanted to be the centre of attention, so I love working with filmmakers that make it feel collaborative. Jacques was like a little kid. He would get so excited when we’d do something right, and he would let us know - even though I couldn’t understand him half the time.”

Testing Her Acting Limits

The 32-year-old actress, known for her versatile career, admitted she’s keen to take on roles that push her boundaries.
“I have been acting and singing my whole life, but this is all a new experience for me. I’m really proud of the choices I’ve made, because I go for the parts that scare me a little. That’s the rush I crave.”

Personal Milestones

Selena recently announced her engagement to record producer Benny Blanco, adding a joyful personal milestone to her growing list of achievements.
