TAB Students Achieve Amazing Success at National and International Levels
BRAHMAPUR, 2/1 (Abhijit Kar): The International Taekwondo Championship was organized from December 26 to 28 at the Kolkata Khudiram Anushilan Kendra Indoor Stadium. In this, Tab students performed well and won many medals. In this regard, a procession was organized today by the Brahmapur Taekwondo Association under the leadership of the Association Secretary, Shri Satya Narayan Tripathi. The procession started from the local Engineering School Square and reached Tata Benz Square after going around the city. In this context, Shri Tripathi said that this procession organized was dedicated to the success of the students at the national and international levels.
Meanwhile, in the international competition, Aditi Nayak, Adarsh Nayak, Sanjivan Samantraya, Balaji Prasad Padhi, Rudra Narayan Sahu won gold medals, while Sanvika Behera, Mehsana Sheikh, K. Kirtimayee Reddy, Vinayak Nayak, Kritika Dalai won silver medals and Subhadarshan Kumar, P. Pratik Patra, Bishal Kumar Naik, Sujit Kumar Panda, Shyama Sundar Patra, Aruna Kumari Naik won bronze medals. Similarly, a national level competition was organized at Shri Vishudhananda Saraswati Vidyalaya, Kolkata from 27th to 29th December. In this too, the gold medal winners among the students of Berhampur TAB were Ahan Kolei, Aarohi Hota, Adin Kolei, Aisha Sethi (gold, bronze), S. Swathi Reddy, Araav Kumar Sahu, L. Ashwani, Itishri Das (gold, bronze), Kumari Kamini Nayak, Ganesh Sahu, Gautam Sahu, Sanvika Behera, Sujit Kumar Panda, P. Pratik Patra (gold, silver), Subhadarshan Kumar, while Rachana Das achieved a remarkable success in the silver medal.
In this procession, the President of the Association, Shri Jitendra Kumar Muni and the Joint Secretary, Shri Lingaraj Sahu, felicitated all the winning students. Among others, Coach T. Dilip Kumar, Sonu Maharana, Vinayak Nahak, Arun Kumar Nayak, and Manager Ms. Jayanti are among the credit holders for this success, said Shri Tripathi.
