"Udne Ki Aasha" Shoot Halts Due to Kanwar Dhillon’s Major Dental Surgery

 

Kanwar Dhillon, adored for his portrayal of Sachin Deshmukh in Star Plus' top-rated show Udne Ki Aasha, recently underwent major dental surgery, leading to a temporary halt in the show’s production.

Health Update and Shooting Break

In a conversation with India TV, Kanwar revealed that he is recovering from surgery with multiple stitches in his mouth, making it difficult to resume filming. The actor stated,

"I have recently undergone a major dental surgery and currently have multiple stitches in my mouth, making it impossible to shoot while swollen. Thankfully, my team has been very understanding and supportive, allowing me the time off I need to recover. Hope to bounce back soon."

Production Pauses

Insiders from the Udne Ki Aasha set disclosed that the shoot was paused from December 31st to January 5th due to Kanwar’s recovery period. While the cast and crew resumed filming on January 6th, Kanwar shared via Instagram that he managed to shoot briefly but had to take another day off on January 7th.

The actor is expected to fully return to set on January 8th. Despite the challenges, the production team had prepared a bank of episodes in advance, ensuring the show's continuity without significant disruption.
