All-India Tennis Tournament to be Held in B'pur

 

BERHAMPUR, 1/2 (Abhijeet Kar): The All-India Tennis Tournament will be held in Berhampur from the 3rd to the 6th. In this regard, it was informed through a Press Conference on Saturday Morning that it will be Organized under the auspices of the Ganjam District Tennis Association. GDTA President Abdul Sattar, Secretary Rajesh Kumar Sahu, Tournament Director Biswaranjan Patnaik, Organizing Secretary Uma Shankar Panda, Referee Debapriya Das, Union Club secretary Arun Bisoyi , and Media Coordinator Ranjit Panda were Present and informed that 40 competitors from 5 states like Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and West Bengal have registered to play in this tournament to be held from 3rd to 6th. Both boys and girls can participate in this tournament in the 16-year-old category.  While it has been decided to hold the tournament at the tennis court at the Union Club, if the number of players is high, the tournament will also be held at the tennis court at the Berhampur SP office. Similarly, a tennis tournament will be held on the 8th and 9th in the age categories of veterans and 40, 50 and 60 years, it has been informed in the press conference.Among others, the event was attended by many prominent tennis players, including many members of the Union Club.
