In the latest episode of Anupamaa airing tonight, Kartik contacts Anupama with an unusual request: to cook meals for prisoners. Curious, Anupama asks whether the inmates don’t prepare their own food. Kartik explains that while they do, external food is also arranged at times. He invites her to join him if she’s interested, but Anupama, though intrigued, shifts her focus to Rahi’s upcoming wedding instead.
Elsewhere, Moti Baa is buzzing with excitement about Prem’s wedding, declaring her intent to dance. Badshah playfully teases her, suggesting she’s not keen on dancing, to which Moti Baa retorts that she’s selective about dance styles. Meanwhile, Leela assigns Rahi the task of lighting lamps in the house’s corners, a nod to their traditions. Ansh, feeling sentimental, asks Rahi to record her voice as a keepsake for when they’ll miss her. Rahi shares that she’s already been capturing conversations with the Shah family and entrusts Anupama’s care to Leela and Hasmuk.
As the wedding festivities kick off, the Kothari family revels in Prem’s baraat while the Shahs prepare to receive them. The Kotharis, however, insist on celebrating outdoors before stepping inside. Rahi is thrilled by the vibrancy, but Leela confines her to her room, upsetting her as she longs to join the dancing. Anupama, spotting Prem, is reminded of Anuj, stirring her emotions. Meanwhile, Gautam begins troubling Prathana, adding a layer of tension.
Rahi soon notices her makeup and hair in disarray and steps away to fix them. During the rituals, Anupama performs a key tradition with Prem, explaining its meaning, followed by Pakhi who mirrors the act. The Shahs warmly welcome the Kotharis, though Gautam remains aloof toward Anupama. Choosing to overlook his demeanor, Anupama focuses on ensuring Rahi’s day is perfect.
The mood lifts as Rahi joins the celebrations, dancing with abandon—until she suddenly stumbles, twists her leg, and falls. Blood from her injury smears the mirror, casting a shadow over the joy. The Kotharis praise the Shahs’ detailed arrangements, while Prem, moved by nostalgia, recites poetry to the Shahs in Anuj’s style, speaking to his photo. Parag, however, worries that Anupama’s involvement might strain Rahi and Prem’s bond. Khyati counters, defending Anupama’s unique nature, leaving Parag hopeful yet cautious.
Meanwhile, Ansh, Hasmuk, and Toshu discuss Gautam’s odd behavior. Hasmuk labels it arrogance, though Anil and Meeta, overhearing, brush it off. Badshah compliments Radha, only to be ignored. Anupama, sensing something amiss, finds her thoughts drifting to Anuj. Moti Baa then hands her the Shubh Asan—a treasured family heirloom symbolizing their heritage—tasking her with placing it on the vedi for the rituals. She stresses its irreplaceable value and warns Anupama to guard it carefully, a responsibility Anupama accepts solemnly, with Toshu stepping up to assist.
Later, Leela asks Anupama to fetch Rahi for the rituals. But when Anupama enters Rahi’s room, she’s met with a horrifying sight that leaves her reeling.
