Tonight’s episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin opens with Leena firmly assuring her family that Neil will wed Juhi and no one else. She instructs Neil to steer clear of Mohit’s family and announces her plan to reach out to the Chavan family to lock in an engagement date. Vinod, sensing tension, asks Neil if he’s genuinely content with this decision. Before Neil can respond, Leena cuts in, declaring that his happiness is already secured in her choice and his input isn’t needed. Frustrated, Neil snaps that there’s no point in speaking if his voice doesn’t matter, storming off in a huff. Leena brushes off his reaction, insisting he has no real objections.
Meanwhile, at the Chavan household, a Pooja is underway to bring peace to Mohit’s soul. The Pandit calls for Mohit’s wife and children to join the ritual. Mukta steps forward, but Laxmi intervenes sharply, asserting that she—not Mukta—is Mohit’s rightful wife in the eyes of family, society, and law. Mukta, desperate, pleads with folded hands, claiming her marriage to Mohit was sanctified by sacred fire. Laxmi retorts sarcastically, asking if Mukta expects her to share the ritual with the woman who ruined her life.
The argument escalates as Laxmi threatens to take her inherited property from Mohit and return to her maternal home if Mukta participates. Mukta insists she has no designs on the property, only wanting to honor Mohit through the Pooja. Aditi urges Laxmi to soften her stance, but Laxmi stands firm. Teju comforts Mukta and boldly calls out Laxmi’s harshness. Satish reprimands Teju for meddling in elder affairs, but she defiantly refuses to stay quiet when her mother is insulted. In the end, Laxmi and Aditi proceed with the Pooja, excluding Mukta.
Neil arrives at the Chavan residence and overhears the dispute over Mukta’s exclusion. Confronting the family, he asks who objects to her involvement. Laxmi owns up to it with a cutting remark. Unfazed, Neil declares his intention to take Mukta and her children to a nearby temple for the Pooja. Satish objects, but Omi gives his blessing, allowing Neil to depart with them.
