The 'India’s Got Latent' controversy has kept Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija in the spotlight, with the internet ablaze over their recent statements. Following intense backlash, Ranveer had already issued a public apology for his widely criticized 'sex with parents' comment, while Apoorva Mukhija stayed off social media, avoiding any immediate response.

In a fresh update, NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar, in a video released by ANI, disclosed that both Ranveer and Apoorva have now formally apologized for their remarks made during the contentious episode of 'India’s Got Latent.' “They appeared before the Commission and offered their apologies,” Rahatkar stated, adding, “They assured us that such mistakes won’t happen again.”

Rahatkar further revealed that Ranveer and others involved described the incident as their “first and last such mistake,” vowing to exercise greater caution in their future content. She quoted them saying, “They promised to be thoughtful with their words to avoid hurting anyone. They emphasized thinking before speaking. Ranveer Allahbadia and the others admitted that while their words can’t be undone, they’ll work to ensure their shows reflect respect, particularly toward women.”

For those unaware, the uproar began when Ranveer posed a provocative question to a contestant on 'India’s Got Latent': “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or join in once to stop it forever?” The remark sparked immediate outrage, with netizens and critics slamming the popular YouTuber for what they deemed offensive and inappropriate. Adding to the drama, Ranveer appeared in Guwahati court today, with a video of the event circulating widely online.
