Breast Cancer Awareness Camp Program by Kranti Institute

Berhampur, 12/10 (Abhijit Kar): A breast cancer awareness program has been organized in IEI campus in collaboration with Karanti Institute and Government ITI. Now a days, breast cancer has become a major headache. In some cases, the disease can be cured with timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Awareness can defeat this disease. Therefore, it is very important to create awareness about the symptoms of breast cancer and its diagnosis and treatment. This awareness program was organized with the aim of making people aware of the disease and creating a cancer free India. An awareness program was conducted under the chairmanship of Dr. Denanand Das, executive director of Kranti Institute and a cancer survivor.

In this breast cancer awareness programme, Dr. Nilangini Gokhel Padhi, Gynecologist at Women’s Hospital, Dr. Suman Das, Cancer Doctor, Apollo Center, Visakhapatna called for the causes, diagnosis and awareness of cancer in the society. Cancer survivor Tapswini Mishra shares her experience of how she recovered from breast cancer. Govt. ITI With, the 400 student performed the awareness program in a very simple way through her question answering medium and the teacher’s shoulder. In this context, Dr. Dash of Kranti Institute, suffering from cancer, shared his experience of how he suffered and the treatment of cancer is very easy now a days and a patient can survive from it and he gave this message that don’t be afraid of cancer – be afraid.

Dr. Dash asserted that a cancer-free India year is possible if awareness continues. Bhubaneswar U.I. US Cancer Foundation Trustee Rajaram Padhi informed the students about cancer. Anil Kumar Sethi, Nirmala Dash, ITI TO Ratikant Parida, Pratibha Dwivedi, Suchitra Mishra and Anupama Sahu contributed to the awareness program. At the end, Rajaram gave vote of  thanks.
