Telugu Community’s enjoyed the “Makar Mothsav”, Tribute to MLA Bikram Kumar Panda

Berhampur/Gopalpur, 15.1 (Abhijit Kar): On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, ‘Makar Mahotsav’ was celebrated in grand style at Gopalpur beach. Brahmapur MLA and District Planning Committee Chairman Bikram Kumar Panda presided over the event with Hon’ble Housing and Urban Development Minister Smt. Usha Devi as the chief guest, State Planning Board Member Ramesh Chandra Chow Patnaik, Brahmapur MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, guests of honour as Asika MP Pramila Bisoyi, Chhatrapur MLA Subhas Behera, Asika MLA Manjula Swain, Khallikot MLA Surya Mani Baidya, State Cashew Development Corporation Chairman Subash Chandra Maharana, Berhampur Mayor Sanghmitra Dalei, Deputy Mayor E. Vivek Reddy, District Councilor Anjali Swain was the Mainly in attendance. Shashi Bhushan Mohanty, Nachiketa Swain, Zila Parishad Vice President Rajswari Dora, Gopalpur NAC A. Janki Ram, Socialist Dharmaraj Reddy, Ajit Dash, Sarpanch Ajit Raul Gopalpur Constituency Sarpanch, Samiti members including public representatives and many corporate Dist Level party workers of Berhampur Municipal Corporation attended. While the meeting was presided over by State Spokesperson Tunath Panda, Jyoti Ranjan Sah, Ajit Panda, Shobhan Naik managed all the programs with the help of youth social worker A Santosh Patra, Later entertainment was provided by Murali Mohan and Basir, members of Hyderabad’s famous G Group, with the melodious music of Odia singer Navia Jarathi as thousands of spectators shared the cultural program. It has been informed by the police that 3 platoons of police have been appointed to manage this festival with peace and order. However, it is being discussed in general that this program is a decoration for the 2024 elections.
