Mo Bus-Car Collision On Puri-Konark Marine Drive Kills One, Injures Five

Puri: A head-on collision between a Mo Bus and a car on Puri-Konark Marine Drive killed a person and left five others critically injured, today. The mishap took place when the car was heading towards Bhubaneswar from Chandrabhaga while the Mo Bus was en route to Konark from Puri.

The condition of the Mo Bus driver remains critical, as the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a roadside tree following the head-on collision. Trapped inside the wreckage, the driver awaited rescue efforts. An occupant of the car died on the spot, while condition of the remaining five passengers deteriorated to a critical state. They were rushed to the Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment. Due to the severity of their injuries, two of the victims were later referred to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
