Biju Babu’s 108th birth anniversary Celebration in B’pur

Brahampur, 5/3 (Abhijit Kar): On the orders of Honorable Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik Like every year, this year too, the 108th birth anniversary of late Biju Patnaik has been celebrated by Mahanagar Biju Janata Dal. On behalf of Brahmapur Mahanagar Biju Janata Dal, under the leadership of MLA Brahmapur and Ganjam District Planning Committee President Bikram Kumar Panda, along with all the leaders and workers of the party, on the occasion of Biju Babu’s birth anniversary day, on Tuesday morning, Deepadan program was first held at Maa Budhi Thakurani temple, then the local Desi Behara Street They floral tributes to Biju Patnaik’s statue, Mahatma Gandhi at Asika Road Taluka Street, Utkalmani Gopbandhu Das paid floral tributes to Biju Patnaik’s statue, and Biju Patnaik’s statue at local Biju Patnaik Park. He also distributed food and fruits to all the patients of Brahmapur City Hospital. Later in the afternoon, a cycle procession was organized by the youth, students and senior leaders of the party.

The procession started from the local Utkal Cinema Hall Street and ended at the residence of MLA Bikram Kumar Panda in Gajapati Nagar. Later a rally and meeting was held at a nearby ground. In this program, Ganjam District BJD District President Dr. Ramesh Chandra Chow Patnaik, Berhampur MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, State Secretary Subash Chandra Maharana, District President Bijay Samal, District Women President and Mayor Sanghmitra Dalai, District Vice President Bhagwan Gantayat, Deputy Mayor Vivek Reddy, T. Tripati Patra, D. Karunakar, Pradeep Stapathi, Nilakanth Sahu, Ch. Ranjita Behera, Sameer Mishra, corporators including T. Kishore Patra, J. Srinivas, Ashwini Patnaik, Chitrasen Mahapatra, Malay Bisoyi were present. Organized under the coordination of senior leader Madan Mohan Dadai, Mahanagar Youth President Ajit Panda, Zone Student President Jyoti Ranjan Sahu, Mahanagar Student President Shovan Naik and many party workers contributed.
