Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti Was Celebrated in GIPS

Berhampur, 2/10 (Abhijit Kar): On the occasion of the birth anniversary of India’s great freedom fighter Gandhi ji and the country’s second Prime Minister Shastri Ji, the Gurukul International Public School at Goods Road has celebrated the birth anniversary of Gandhi ji and Shastri ji with great Program. School’s Chairman Mr. Prashant Mahapatra, Secretary Mrs. Anita Kumari Padhi and School Principal Mrs. Madhusmita Parida joined as chief guests and offered floral tributes to the photographs of Gandhi ji and Shastri ji. On this occasion, the Chairman of the school Shri Mahapatra gave an inspiring speech on the biographies of Gandhi ji and Shastri ji.

In this context, students from many schools such as 2nd class Kritika Pradhan Hindi poetry, 3rd class Diptimayee Devishree Panda English poetry, 5th class Ahana Sahu Hindi poetry, 6th class Sai Stuti Pradhan in Odia language, 5th class Sai Prasad Kandi dance, 7th class Ayushman Nayak Sangeet He performed his work beautifully. On this holy day, the students who were present were made to recite the oath on becoming a great person for the country by keeping their personalities like great men. Apart from this, school teacher Runu Jena was Felicitated by the guests. Lastly NCC cadets and scout guide cadets went to clean Gopalpur beach under the supervision of School Scout Captain Madhusmita Hota and Assistant NCC Officer Deepak Panda. All these programs were organized under the supervision of Josna Bhujbal, senior teacher of the school’s Odia Language department.
