Finally, after a long wait, the makers of Chandu Champion have unveiled the trailer of the film. Featuring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, the movie narrates the life story of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. The highly anticipated trailer was launched on a massive scale in Gwalior, which is also the hometown of Kartik Aaryan.

The trailer begins with a voice-over revealing that Murlikant Petkar (played by Kartik) sustained 9 gunshots in the 1965 war and has been in a coma since then. However, Murlikant eventually wakes up from the coma only to realize that he is now safe in his own country, India.
The narrative then delves into Murlikant’s childhood, where he is teased as ‘Chandu Champion.‘ Despite facing his father’s denial to pursue wrestling at an international level, Murli’s unwavering spirit takes him to unexpected places. The trailer depicts how Murlikant Petkar joins the army to fulfil his dream of becoming a sportsperson.
However, fate had other plans as he got shot 9 times during the 1965 war. Overall, the trailer promises to be an emotional roller coaster ride for viewers, evoking massive goosebumps. Chandu Champion is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. A few days earlier, the makers of the film released the poster, featuring Kartik Aaryan in a chiselled look.
