OBC Morcha will take membership from the general public at the gathering place
Berhampur, 11/9 (Abhijit Kar): A membership campaign workshop has been held by the Bharatiya Janata Party OBC Morcha in the Special Circuit House conference hall at Station Road. The workshop organized under the coordination of Ganjam District OBC Morcha President Madan Mohan Patra was attended as the Chief Guest by Ganjam District Membership Officer Dusmant Nayak on behalf of State OBC Morcha, District OBC Morcha General Secretary Sunil Patra, Senior Leader and State Working Member Kanhu Charan Pati, Ganjam District Membership. Major Paresh Chandra Rath, OBC Morcha District Coordinator S. Srinivasa Rao, Senior leader Mahant Chinmayand Das Major were present and discussed the participation of OBC Morcha in the membership drive of Bharatiya Janata Party in the state.
The membership drive which started from 1st September will continue for 45 days. For the membership drive, OBC Morcha activists went door to door and contacted young Boys and girls and emphasized on getting them involved as members of the party. Along with this, the OBC Morcha activists will organize the membership campaign in schools, colleges, hostels, malls, haat bazars, railway stations, bus stands and other public gathering places and youths and general public will be asked to join the party by sending a miss call on 8800002024. Morcha treasurer Santosh Mohapatra said.among others Senior leaders of the party in charge of the three Lok Sabha constituencies of Aska, Berhampur and Kandhamal Media Co-Ordinator Sunil Sahu, District general secretary Prabhat Kiran Shadangi, district Secretary S. Rani, Mandal OBC Morcha President Kalia Sahu and many other party workers were present in Program.
