AAP accused BJP for Delhi Metro threat messages

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday held a press conference after several photos of graffiti scribbled on the walls and signages of three metro stations and inside metro trains surfaced on social media. The AAP alleged that the threat message were written at the behest of Prime Minister’s Office, BJP and Narendra Modi.

AAP leader Atishi said the BJP has been targeting Kejriwal by “hatching different conspiracies” as it is frustrated by the fact that it is going to lose all seven seats in Delhi. “They got him (Kejriwal) arrested on March 21 and then when he was lodged inside Tihar jail, they stopped his insulin for 15 days and we had to approach the court. After he came out, they used Swati Maliwal to target him but that conspiracy also did not pay off since the videos revealed that the assault allegations were false,” she alleged, adding that now there is a danger to Delhi CM’s life.

The AAP also wrote to the Election Commission demanding stern action in the incident. In the letter, the AAP MLAs alleged that “this conspiracy” has been hatched at the behest of BJP and PMO as they believe that “PM Modi can go any limits to harm Arvind Kejriwal”.
