The actor, who arrived with a cast on the right hand, chose Falguni Shane Peacock’s ensemble. She attended the screenings of Megalopolis and Kinds of Kindness at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The ‘Devdas‘ actor represented the cosmetics company L’Oreal Paris globally at the event. As per the latest report, Aishwarya will undergo surgery soon after she returns from the 77th Film Festival.
Aishwarya Rai to Undergo Wrist Surgery?
A source close to Hindustan Times revealed that Aishwarya didn’t want to break her Cannes tradition. “Aishwarya broke her wrist over the weekend and thus had to get a cast on. However, she was adamant that she wants to keep her Cannes tradition going. Thus, even after the injury, she completed her professional commitments and made it to Cannes.”
Additionally, according to the source, the actor only travelled to France after consulting with medical professionals and may shortly need hand surgery. The source further added, “Her surgery is scheduled for later next week after she returns from Cannes.”
