Kangana Ranaut Says She Will Give Up Acting if She Wins Mandi Seat in Lok Sabha Polls 2024

Kangana Ranaut made her political debut in Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The Tejas actor was fielded by the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) from Mandi. Now in a viral statement, Kangana has said that she will quit Bollywood if she wins the Mandi seat in Lok Sabha Polls 2024. On Tuesday, Kangana Submitted her nomination for the election. She also dedicated her entire time to campaigning. 

In a recent interview with Aaj Tak, when Kangana was asked about her plans if she wins the seat in Mandi, the actor responded and said, “Yes… mujhe bohot saare filmmakers kehte hain ki humare paas ek acchi heroine hai, please mat jao. Main acchi acting karti hoon, par chalo voh bhi ek accha compliment hai. I take it in my stride.”

It is worth noting, that Kangana is taking the election very seriously. Ahead of voting in Himachal Pradesh, the actor revealed her assets worth Rs 91 crore, which include jewellery, cars, and immovable assets. She also has a debt of Rs 17 crore. According to the Indian Express, Kangana has disclosed documents revealing she possesses movable assets worth Rs 28.7 crore and immovable assets valued at Rs 62.9 crore. 

The Tanu Weds Manu actress owns properties across the country, including three houses in Mumbai valued at Rs 16 crore and a bungalow in Manali worth Rs 15 crore. Additionally, she has four properties in Chandigarh, a commercial property in Mumbai, and a commercial building in Manali.

Ever since the actor got the ticket from Mandi, she has been hosting rallies. Because of her rallies, the actor remains in the limelight constantly. The polling in HP will take place on June 1.

Interestingly, the report also claimed that Kangana’s higher education qualification is 12th standard. The actor completed her schooling at a private school in Chandigarh. Kangana made her debut with the film Gangster. The actor’s next film is Emergency based on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
