‘Second husband’ Shahid Kapoor quips ‘mujhe meri biwi se bachao’

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently shared a lighthearted moment with his wife, Mira Rajput, aboard a flight, humorously dubbing himself as the “second husband.” In a playful Instagram Boomerang, Shahid can be seen pulling faces at the camera while Mira stays engrossed on her phone. Adding to the humor, Shahid set the post to Kishore Kumar’s iconic track “Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachao” from the 1974 comedy *Aaj Ki Taaza Khabar*.

The film, originally adapted from a Gujarati play, has been a classic, later remade into *Pheka Pheki* in Marathi and *Golmaal Returns* in Hindi. Shahid’s witty caption and song choice reflected his playful nature in this candid moment, leaving fans amused.

Recently, Shahid also gave fans a peek into his tranquil vacation in the mountains with Mira, captioning a post “happy morning” as he posed in a laid-back, sporty outfit surrounded by nature.

On the professional front, Shahid is gearing up for his upcoming film *Deva*, where he stars alongside Pooja Hegde in the role of a cop, directed by Rosshan Andrrews. The 43-year-old actor has expressed interest in working in South Indian cinema, although he admitted to concerns about mastering the language and dialogue delivery. Shahid mentioned that he’s open to exploring South Indian films, provided a filmmaker can guide him through the process, stating, “Whichever filmmaker from the South can trust me, explain to me properly, and deal with all my questions, I’m ready to do it.”
