10 women participate in Khelo India Taekwondo

Berhampur, 18/11 (Abhijit Kar): Nine women from Berhampur and one More woman from Bhanjnagar participated in the selection of 10 Khelo India women on behalf of Taekwondo Association of Berhampur Hillapatna on 16th at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indore Stadium in Cuttack. Among them Sudiksha Rani Sahu (Senior under 57 kg), Adyasa Kiran (Cadet under 51 kg), Pratyusha Rath (Cadet under 49 kg), Kumari Kamini Nayak (Junior under 49 kg), Shubh Lagna Swain (Senior under 44 kg). A total of 6 girls have been selected. Taekwondo Association head coach Satya Narayan Tripathi said that the Central and State Governments have encouraged women to take part in the Eastern Zone League to be held in Gohati, Assam in December.
