National Honor to Senior Journalist Sudip from Happy Moments India
Berhampur 1/9 (Abhijit Kar): A day-long National Citizen Honors Ceremony has been organized by Happy Moment India, Rourkela at Jaydev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. Sudip Kumar Sahu, a senior journalist, singer, lawyer, actor, coordinator, writer and social activist from Berhampur was honored with national honors in this ceremony. Information journalist Sudip has been awarded more than 600 honors from Hyderabad, Calcutta, New Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Bhubaneswar, Paradip, Puri, Cuttack districts and other places and institutions. The program was graced by Padmashri Prabhakar Maharana, MLA Anant Narayan Jena, Kavi Shankar Parida, C. V. Raman Institute advisor Sunilj Shadangi and comic poet Sampad Rath, Pandit Harichandan participated in the inauguration.
2000 delegates from different parts of Odisha participated in this ceremony which was held under the chairmanship of Rajendra Panda, Chairman of the Institute. The guests praised President Sri. Panda for his social service, promotion of literature and culture in various parts of Odisha, and for extending his hand of help and cooperation to the poor and needy. Malkhamba dance, Odissi dance and various types of dances and songs were also performed in the ceremony. Presently working talented personalities from various fields of Odisha were felicitated by the guests by giving certificates, seals etc. On this occasion, the institute promoted 70 talented people who gained expertise in various fields. Among others, senior members of the institute, Sundar Sahu, Barsha Jena, Satyam Modak etc. graced the occasion. Similarly, social worker Barsha Vidusmita, feminist and journalist Anujanand Vishwal, young journalist Satish Kumar Das of Bhubaneswar were also honoured.
