Preparatory meeting of Mahanagar BJD for October’s program 

• On Chief Minister’s birthday, there will be tree planting, blood donation camps and worship at temples, Masjid, churches and Gurudwara.

Berhampur, 7/10 (Abhijit Kar): On the call of Honorable Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, public relations march of Berhampur Mahanagar Biju Janata Dal was launched from last 2nd of this month. Therefore, a preparatory meeting was held today by the Berhampur Mahanagar Biju Janata Dal to organize the birth anniversary celebrations of Utkalmani Gopbandhu Das and Lok Nayak Jay Prakash Narayan on the 9th. In the meeting held under the chairmanship of Brahmapur MLA in front of his own residence, Hon’ble MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, Brahmapur MLA and Ganjam District Planning Committee Chairman Bikram Kumar Panda, State Secretary and Subash Chandra Maharana, Zone Women President Mamata Bisoy, District President and Mayor Sanghamitra Dalai, District Vice President Bhagwan Gantayat, Mahanagar President Bijay Chandra Samal, Youth President Ajit Kumar Panda, Student President Sovan Nayak, Women President Sonali Gantayat, Present Deputy Mayor Vivek Reddy, District secretary K.Madhavi, District secretary Sanjit Panigarahi, Jagannath Sabat and youth students and women of the party were present.

He directed the leaders and workers to gather at the statue of Buddha near the local Gosainuagaon police station at 4 pm on October 2nd and join the meeting organized there by placing garlands at the statue of Gopbandhu at Giri Road in a procession. Similarly, to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan on 11th, a public meeting will be organized from Khallikot University to Radio Station Lochapada Road, The camp will be held. And on the occasion of Hon’ble Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s birthday on 16th, trees will be planted in different parts of the city and a mega blood donation camp will be organized in the premises of the local Biju Patnaik Culture Bhavan, along with this, it has been decided to pray for the recovery of Naveen Patnaik in temples, Masjid, churches and gurudwaras in the city.
