Arrest the main culprits and give a compensation of 50 lakhs to the victim – Babita Patra

Berhampur, 11/5 (Abhijit Kar): A “press conference” has been held at the Berhampur Zone Media Center in Gandhi Nagar under the coordination of Media Zone Coordinator Sunil Kumar Sahu. State Women’s Wings General Secretary Smt. Babita Patra joined in the shameful and sensitive incident that happened in Berhampur on the last 3 days in which +2 minor students were victims of misbehavior. According to Babita Patra, the victim’s father gave the name of 8 people to the police station, but the police only got the name of 6 people. Among the others, the police gave the name of Sambit Panigarahi to Juman Goud. Similarly, Bikram Jena, who is campaigning with Biju Chatra Janata Dal and BJD leaders, has been released by the police despite his medical clearance.

However, the actions of the police in this incident are raising suspicions that the police are acting in this manner under the pressure of the government party leaders. In today’s press conference, the BJP Women’s Wings is demanding that the police arrest the main criminals as soon as possible and give them appropriate punishment and give a grant of 50 lakhs to the victims. Otherwise, the BJP women’s front will raise its voice and come down to protest on the streets for the protection, justice and rights of women, Mrs. Patra informed in the press conference.
