Ashok and Prahallad was elected as the President or Secretary of PCB Election
Berhampur, 16/8 (Abhijit Kar): The results of Press Club Berhampur election-2024 held for the first time have been announced after the counting of votes. After the announcement of the voting results, Ashok Kumar Brahma won as the president of the press club by getting 70 votes, while his closest rival Shaktidhar Rajguru got 58 votes, Sharat Kumar Singh got 19 votes. Similarly, Abhay Kumar Padhi won by getting 75 votes as the vice president, while his nearest rival Sibaram Choudhury got 49 votes, Satya Chetan Parida got 15 votes and Abhijit Kar got 9 votes. While Prahallad Sahu won the post of Secretary by getting 60 votes, his closest rival Alok Kumar Sahu got 36 votes, Shantanu Rana got 33 votes, Sudeep Kumar Sahu won by getting 18 votes. Similarly, as Joint Secretary D. Gopal Krishna Reddy won by getting 59 votes, his closest rival Goury Shankar Mishra got 50 votes and Sameer Kumar Rath got 38 votes. It has been announced that Siba Narayan Panda has got 89 votes for the position of treasurer while his nearest rival Itishree Samapika Mohanty has got 57 votes. During today’s polling, Berhampur Tehsildar and Election Officer Kshirod Bihari Nag as Election Officer, Dr. V. Rajendra Raju, Mihir Tripathi, Arun Kumar Mishra, Achyutanand Padhi, Uday Nath Hota attended.
