Cancer Awareness Program on National Youth Day by Kranti

Berhampur, 12/1 (Abhijit Kar): With the initiative of Kranti Institute, From the MKCG Medical College to Biju Patnaik Sanskrit Bhavan, a well-equipped Chariot of Swamiji, carrying young women and girls from various schools and colleges, toured Berhampur city and Swami Ji’s voice called and inspired the youth community. It is worth mentioning that under the direct supervision of Dr. Devananda Dash, the Executive Director of Kranti, this program was held by Kranti on the occasion of the 161st birth anniversary of her Swami Vivekananda National Youth Day to make the youth society aware of the message “Youth society should be aware and free India from cancer”. Brahmapur Lok Sabha MP Chandra Shekhar Sahu, District Planning Committee Chairman and Brahmapur MLA Bikram Kumar Panda, State Planning Board Member Ramesh Chandra ChowPatnaik, Odisha Cashew Development Corporation Chairman Subas Chandra Maharna, BeMC Mayor Sanghamitra Dalei Major attended MKCG On the premises of the Medical College, Swami Ji’s statue was lit and garlanded and flagged off the vigilance chariot. one of the guests in this jubilee and march program. In this march, more than 800 young women and girls joined the volunteers of various institutes, academies and many schools and raised slogans for Swami ji in the procession. Finally a spiritual gathering was held on the birth anniversary of her Swami Vivekananda in front of the Biju Patnaik Sanskrit Bhavan in Hillipatna. Former BeMC Mayor Shiv Shankar Das, Governor Awardee Retired Principal Ajit Kumar Mohapatra joined in this and explained Swami Ji’s importance to the youth society in simple terms. Dr. Dash of Karanti Institute inspired the youth and women present to create a cancer free India through awareness. The program was conducted with support from all the staff members of ISRD, Sakhi and Karanti Institute including Nirmala Das, Devraj Raut, Saroj Kumar Sahu, Snigdha Maharana, Kalyani Das, Arun Patnaik, Barun Chowdhury, Chinmaya Nand Das and Binayak Prasad Naik.
