Celebrating Golden Jubilee and 54th Anniversary of Friends Helping Club
• The scope of services should be widened and not limited to Berhampur city only – Minister

Berhampur, 13/7 (Abhijit Kar): The golden jubilee and 54th anniversary celebration of Friends Helping Club, a leading social service organization in Ganjam district and Berhampur city, has been held on Saturday evening at Jatadhareshwar Temple Kalyan Mandap. In this event presided over by Engineer Prashant Patra, Odisha Commerce, Transport, Steel and Mining Department Cabinet Minister Bibhu Bhushan Jena joined as the chief guest, Berhampur MLA K. Anil Kumar and Berhampur Municipal Corporation Mayor Smt. Sanghmitra Dalai participated as guest of honor. One of the guests was Dr. Jayanti Rao, Secretary M. Vidya Sagar, Golden Jayanti Chairman Dr. T. Prakash Rao were present. On this occasion, the family members of the eye donors were felicitated by the chief guests for the memory and respect of the great people who donated the eyes.
In this context, Minister Mr. Jena in his speech said, “Friends Helping Club is very good, this work is only limited to Berhampur city and requested to expand area.” He thanked the club for doing great work like blood donation, eye donation, body donation etc. Similarly, Mayor Sanghmitra Dalai promised to provide all kinds of help for all charitable works. At the end of the meeting, president M. Vidya Sagar, Secretary Satyakam Patra, Vice President Srikanth Senapati, J. Suresh, Manoj Kumar Padhi, Secretary M. Praveen and Treasurer P. Kiran Kumar recited the chief oath. In this program, Vice President J. Suresh, Joint secretary Srikanth Senapati, K. Nandeshu Senapati, E. Jagadishwar Rao, E.T. Rao, Treasurer P.
