Grand Launch of Digital Channel and Web Portal of “MANTHAN”
• Manthan has Become the Honest Medium of People by Performing his Duties Properly – Ravi Das
Bhubaneswar, 14/7 (Abhijit ): An auspicious Launch Ceremony of the Digital Channel and Web Portal of the Daily Newspaper ‘Manthan’ has been held at the local Jaydev Bhawan. Senior journalist Ravi Das joined as the chief guest in the launch ceremony organized under the supervision of Sharat Raut, Chief Editor and Patron of “Manthan”, which has maintained the trust and hope of people throughout Odisha for 28 years, and emphasized the importance of digital media in today’s society. As a weekly newspaper for 28 years and as a daily newspaper for 15 years, Manthan has done its duty properly and has become an honest medium of the people. Similarly, Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Das joined as an honored guest and expressed his opinion that ‘Manthan’ will become a satellite news channel in the coming days and wished him well and highlighted the growth of journalists. One of the guests and MLA Anant Narayan Jena wished the ‘Manthan’ for its upcoming days and expressed hope that it will continue to be popular with the people.
Among others, senior leader Suresh Kumar Rautrai, lecturer Vishwa Ranjan, social worker Dipti Rekha Patnaik, social worker Bapu Ojha, social worker Ravi Maharana, Utkal Journalists Association President Vibhuthi Bhushan Kar, BJP leader Keshav Swayun, senior journalist Kishore Mangaraj, senior director of Doordarshan Debabrata Das, Senior journalist Pradeep Kumar Raut, Poeter Kedar Mishra, BJD leader Manas Bastia, senior lawyer Sumant Swain, columnist Rangadher Pradhan, senior journalist Ajit Rath joined and expressed their views. The logo, jersey and boom of “Manthan” were unveiled by the guests present on the occasion.
In this context, Chief Mr. Raut expressed his opinion that now the influence of web portal is increasing, therefore, after serving the people as a reliable media for 28 years, it is now going to enter the digital platform. The program was moderated by Satyajit Mohapatra, Chief managing director Manthan web portal, while senior journalist Satyabadi Nayak contributed. Many journalists from all the districts of the state participated in this program and made it successful, while many well-wishers and supporters were present and encouraged.
