MLA assisted in handing over the dead body to the family from Surat

Brahampur, 24/11 (Abhijit Kar): Hon’ble Brahampur MLA and District Planning Board Committee Chairman Bikram Kumar Panda has been praised by the general public for introducing humanity. Raja Saheb Sahu of Nimakhandi village under Gopalpur Constituency, a MLA who has been helping the helpless mentally and financially as much as possible, died yesterday at Civil Hospital in Surat, Gujarat. Later, as there was no family member there, the dead body was lying helpless, so the people representatives and social workers of the Nimakhandi area expressed their financial inability to bring the body of the deceased Raja Saheb to the village. Mr. Panda’s attention and sought the necessary help. On hearing this news, the Honorable MLA arranged for an ambulance on a wartime basis to bring the mortal remains of the late Raja Saheb from the distant city of Surat. In addition to this, the Honorable MLA himself was present along with the public representatives of Nimakhandi area, local BJD leaders, workers and members of my family from Odisha and took the body of the deceased to his own village Nimakhandi and handed it over to the family. Along with this, the bereaved family made all the arrangements till the final cremation was carried out to the bereaved family by conveying their condolences to the bereaved family. For such humanity and greatness of Honorable MLA Mr. Panda, the public representatives of the region including the family category and the people of the region expressed their sincere thanks to Honorable Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
