State Congress General Secretary Rashmi’s father Passed Away

Brahmapur, 2/4 (Abhijit Kar): Kumar Chandra Patnaik, father of Rashmi Ranjan Patnaik, general secretary of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, passed away today in a private hospital in Delhi. At the time of her death at the age of 82, her son Rashmi, Dev Durlav, Daughter Gauripriya, Minati, son-in-law Radhanath, father-in-law, daughter-in-law Aparajita, grandson Avrit and nephews Dr. Jagannath Patnaik and Dr. Ashiq Patnaik were prominently present. However, Kumar Chandra Patnaik is known as a talented Engeneer. While working as an Engineer in the irrigation department, he honed his skills by working on Hirakuda, Balimela dams. A shadow of mourning has been played out in various quarters after his departure. Meanwhile, PCC President Sharat Patnaik, Senior leaders Bijay Patnaik, Shubhendu Mohanty, Rajeev Patnaik, Pradeept Das and Kendrapada Congress President Loknath Maharathi reached the hospital their last respects and prayed for the repose of the immortal soul and expressed condolences to the bereaved family. Similarly, Rashmi Patnaik’s constituencies’ senior Congress leader Maheshwar Patra, Sujay Acharjya, Sidhant Kumar Sahu and many colleagues in Brahampur also mourned the demise of Late Kumar Chandra Patnaik.
