State level Annual Meeting of Nikhila Utkala Shaundhirak Samaja
Brahmapur, 28/7 (Abhijit Kar): The state-level annual gathering of Nikhil Utkal State-level Shaundhirak Samaj was held in a grand ceremony at Ambapua, Ganjam District and Brahampur Mahanagar Shaundhirak Samaj jointly. State President Vikram Keshari Sahu, State Secretary Udayanath Sahu, Treasurer Sharat Kumar Sahu, Chief Adviser Kodand Choudhary, Principal Patron Pratap Kumar Behera, District President Niranjan Sahu, Mahila President Sunanda Sahu, City President Govind Chandra Sahu, Kuna Sahu were the chief guests Major at present in the Stage. In his speech, the state president announced the proposal to the government for a beautiful society house in Puri and requested all caste brothers and sisters to become Life members for the betterment of the society.
On this occasion, in Ganjam district, to create interest in reading among the students of our caste, financial incentives and certificates were given to the students of the first, second and third categories who obtained the highest marks in class 10 and class 12. In addition to this, Subendu Kumar Sahu of Polsara, who received the O.S.O, was also felicitated with a flower garland. In addition, it was requested to take the decision to marry the girls of the poor class of the society and give the names of unmarried girls and boys to the committee. While the said program was held under the chairmanship of the state President Mr. Sahu, both female and male presidents and Secretaries from all districts of Odisha and all the taluka presidents and Secretaries of Ganjam district also participated in this gathering.
