The Ralaba village violence matter, 6′ persons arrested

Brahmapur, 18/3 (DK): On 15-03-2024 at 10.15 PM one B.Krishna Patra (36) S/O Late Bairagi Patra of village Ralaba, PS. Golanthara reported that pertaining to murderous attack of his younger brother B. Santosh Patra, the case was registered against the accused persons and investigated into. During course of investigation, it was found that on 15.03.2024 evening at about 07.00 PM, while the injured B.Santosh Patra, age-32 yrs was staying shepherding near village Dubapalli,

taking the opportunity of his loneliness due to previous enmity, accused persons namely D. Narasimulu Patra (57), P. Karmeya Patra (55), P. Rahul Patra (20), D.Balu Patra (21), P Chandreya Patra (25) and P. Ajit Patra (20) reached there and assaulted him on his head, both hands, legs and other parts of body using sharp  sword and Kati with an intention to kill him as a result of which, B.Santosh Patra sustained severe bleeding and fell down. Immediately he was shifted to MKCG, MCH, Berhampur for treatment. Now he is undergoing treatment at MKCG, MCH, Berhampur. The used weapon of offence i.e. one Iron sword and Kati were seized based on the revelation of the accused persons. The accused persons were involved in Golanthara PS case No. 395 dated 29.10.2022 u/s 147/ 148/ 109/294/ 323/ 324/ 506/ 307/427/149 IPC/Sec 3 & 4  E.S Act. have been forwarded today.
