Auspicious inauguration of Sulila Devi Institute of Health and Technology

Berhampur, 31/12 (Abhijit Kar): Sulila Devi Health and Technology Institute has been inaugurated on Sunday at Bhabi Narayanpur village under Dura Gram Panchayat Rangeilunda block. Prashanth Mahapatra, Director of the institute, inaugurated the opening ceremony with the presence of Berhampur former MLA and State Planning Board member Ramesh Chandra Chow Patnaik, while Prof. Sachchidanand Mohanty, chief of the directorate of medical education and training, attended as the chief guest. Senior businessman Prakash Kumar Patra, one of the directors of the institute, Nayan Kumar Sahu, Binod Kumar Panda, former MLA Simanchal Behera and Bijay Behera, representative of Dura village Sarpanch, were the main guests. In this regard, the guests expressed their opinion that this institute is especially suitable for studying BSc Nursing and GNM.

Also, when the situation was getting uncontrollable in the state during Corona, such nursing officers were the frontline warriors and saved people from this epidemic, as a result of which the state government later honored them all. Now students are getting attracted to such health and technology, and students studying nursing in Odisha are being admired all over India. However, while there is a possibility of recruiting 20 thousand nursing officers from the state in the coming days, the state government is paying more attention to this, on the other hand, there are currently 13 medical colleges in the state, so students have many opportunities to study here and get jobs in the state and abroad as well, said the chief guest. Ramesh Chandra Chau Patnaik gave his speech.

On the other hand, Professor Sachchidananda Mohanty, Head of the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, opined that the establishment of Sulila Devi Institute of Health and Technology is a kind of opportunity for the students as it is at the top in terms of recruitment of nursing students in the state. While Jagdish Mahapatra presided over the program of the inaugural function, Mrs. Anita Kumari Padhi gave vote of thanks. Among others, principal of Gurukula International Public School, Madhusmita Parida, Sai Santosh Nand, Vice Principal of Sulila Devi Institute of Health and Technology, Sontshini Pradhan, and many other teachers and students were present.
