Closing Ceremony of Summer Boxing Training Camp at Mahatma Gandhi Stadium 

Berhampur, 2/6 (Abhijit Kar): The Summer Boxing Training Camp, which started on the last 19th, was inaugurated on Sunday evening at the local Mahatma Gandhi Stadium. 75 boys and 25 girls took part in this camp organized jointly by Ganjam District Athletic Association and Ganjam Boxing Club. Boxing Federation Vice President and State Boxing Athletes Association Secretary Anil Bahidar, Secretary Bijay Chandra Das, GDAA Joint secretary Basanti Panigarahi, Treasurer Upendra Patnaik, Athletic Coach Surendra Kumar Patnaik, Stadium Incharge Sanjeev Kumar Sahu, Basketball Coach Kajal Sahu were the chief guests at the launch event, Vice President K. Dilip Kumar, Prashant Kumar Raut, Kali Charan Rath, Poorna Chandra Patra, Sushovan Mishra were mainly present. All the new players who joined the boxing camp organized under the coordination of International Referee, Judge and local coach Mr. Sisir Kumar Panigarahi were given certificates by the guests.

In this context, in order to increase the enthusiasm of the players, he gave more importance to the boxing game and advised that training with him with determination can bring glory to Nig in the state, national, international and fair games in the coming days. Among others, Ganjam Boxing Joint secretary K Prabhakar Rao, State Boxing Referee and Local Coach Shibaram Patra, Ladu Kishore Sahu, All Senior Boxers Bulu Patra, Babula Nayak, Suman Das, Muna Gaud, N Madhav, Bipini Gaud, Satish Patra, All the workers of Ganjam Boxing Club including Aditya Mohanty, Rita Rao, S Sai Pratap and all the workers of Mahatma Gandhi Stadium and parents and sports lovers were present in the Ceremony.
